Heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good,
When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.

They are those who hear the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it proves unfruitful.
And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path. Their hands are on what is evil, to do it well; the prince and the judge ask for a bribe, and the great man utters the evil desire of his soul; thus they weave it together.
Shall I acquit the man with wicked scales and with a bag of deceitful weights?
They covet fields and seize them, and houses, and take them away; they oppress a man and his house, a man and his inheritance.
The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who live in the clefts of the rock, in your lofty dwelling, who say in your heart, “Who will bring me down to the ground?”

Can the Ethiopian change his skin or the leopard his spots? Then also you can do good who are accustomed to do evil.
Egypt, Judah, Edom, the sons of Ammon, Moab, and all who dwell in the desert who cut the corners of their hair, for all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in heart.”
How much you go about, changing your way! You shall be put to shame by Egypt as you were put to shame by Assyria.
All these things my hand has made, and so all these things came to be, declares the Lord. But this is the one to whom I will look: he who is humble and contrite in spirit and trembles at my word.
We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a polluted garment. We all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.
Your people shall all be righteous; they shall possess the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I might be glorified.
Their feet run to evil, and they are swift to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; desolation and destruction are in their highways.

My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent. If they say, “Come with us, let us lie in wait for blood; let us ambush the innocent without reason; like Sheol let us swallow them alive, and whole, like those who go down to the pit; we shall find all precious goods, we shall fill our houses with plunder; throw in your lot among us; we will all have one purse”—
Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord!
He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord.
For he did not remember to show kindness, but pursued the poor and needy and the brokenhearted, to put them to death.
A Song. A Psalm of David. My heart is steadfast, O God! I will sing and make melody with all my being!
They kill the widow and the sojourner, and murder the fatherless;
For they persecute him whom you have struck down, and they recount the pain of those you have wounded.
