Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.

Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment;
Knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone's own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

It has been testified somewhere, “What is man, that you are mindful of him, or the son of man, that you care for him? Now an intermediary implies more than one, but God is one.
That is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.
In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
We are even found to be misrepresenting God, because we testified about God that he raised Christ, whom he did not raise if it is true that the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
Yet in my judgment she is happier if she remains as she is. And I think that I too have the Spirit of God.
And again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.”
Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory.
But to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
To the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Amen.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?” “Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?” For from him and through him and to him are all things.
