For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
so they too have now been disobedient in order that by the mercy shown to you they also may now receive mercy. For God has consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him;

Your way was through the sea, your path through the great waters; yet your footprints were unseen.
Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds.
