James 4:1

What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you?

1 Peter 2:11

Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul.

1 Timothy 6:4-10

he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. John 8:44
