Remove far from me falsehood and lying; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me,
But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Those of low estate are but a breath; those of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath. Put no trust in extortion; set no vain hopes on robbery; if riches increase, set not your heart on them.
Give us each day our daily bread,
Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways.
Put false ways far from me and graciously teach me your law!
I have not departed from the commandment of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my portion of food.
The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a fleeting vapor and a snare of death.

So King Zedekiah gave orders, and they committed Jeremiah to the court of the guard. And a loaf of bread was given him daily from the bakers' street, until all the bread of the city was gone. So Jeremiah remained in the court of the guard.
When your eyes light on it, it is gone, for suddenly it sprouts wings, flying like an eagle toward heaven.
See! The Lord has given you the Sabbath; therefore on the sixth day he gives you bread for two days. Remain each of you in his place; let no one go out of his place on the seventh day.”
Morning by morning they gathered it, each as much as he could eat; but when the sun grew hot, it melted. On the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers each. And when all the leaders of the congregation came and told Moses,
Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat and clothing to wear,
And he said to them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the feast.” So they took it.
No one enters suit justly; no one goes to law honestly; they rely on empty pleas, they speak lies, they conceive mischief and give birth to iniquity.
