1 Chronicles 22:7

David said to Solomon, “My son, I had it in my heart to build a house to the name of the Lord my God.

Psalm 132:5

until I find a place for the Lord, a dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob.”

2 Chronicles 6:7-9

Now it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of the Lord, the God of Israel. But the Lord said to David my father, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart.
