for by professing it some have swerved from the faith. Grace be with you.
who have swerved from the truth, saying that the resurrection has already happened. They are upsetting the faith of some.
holding faith and a good conscience. By rejecting this, some have made shipwreck of their faith,
I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand. Remember my chains. Grace be with you.

For since the law has but a shadow of the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near. Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, since the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have any consciousness of sins? But in these sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. All who are with me send greetings to you. Greet those who love us in the faith. Grace be with you all.
The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you.
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.
Certain persons, by swerving from these, have wandered away into vain discussion,
Gaius, who is host to me and to the whole church, greets you. Erastus, the city treasurer, and our brother Quartus, greet you.
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
