and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.”
The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.
But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,

For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
