And I will take your wives before your eyes and give them to your neighbor, and he shall lie with your wives in the sight of this sun. For you did it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel and before the sun.’”
the king said to Nathan the prophet, “See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwells in a tent.”
And now do not be distressed or angry with yourselves because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life.
And behold, the word of the Lord came to him: “This man shall not be your heir; your very own son shall be your heir.”
