and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.
so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;
For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.
In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died;
For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.
No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
“Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name,
may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
And I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb. And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb. By its light will the nations walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it,
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her,
Then I will go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy, and I will praise you with the lyre, O God, my God.
It is right for me to feel this way about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel.
As for me, I shall behold your face in righteousness; when I awake, I shall be satisfied with your likeness.
