All the people of Israel did just as the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron.
Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
You are my friends if you do what I command you.
If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.
His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.
“Everything that I command you, you shall be careful to do. You shall not add to it or take from it.
“And now, O Israel, listen to the statutes and the rules that I am teaching you, and do them, that you may live, and go in and take possession of the land that the Lord, the God of your fathers, is giving you. You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you.
At the end of 430 years, on that very day, all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt.
Pharaoh will not listen to you. Then I will lay my hand on Egypt and bring my hosts, my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great acts of judgment.
These are the Aaron and Moses to whom the Lord said: “Bring out the people of Israel from the land of Egypt by their hosts.”
