All the days of Noah were 950 years, and he died.
After Noah was 500 years old, Noah fathered Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
Thus all the days of Methuselah were 969 years, and he died.
The years of our life are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty; yet their span is but toil and trouble; they are soon gone, and we fly away.
And Shem lived after he fathered Arpachshad 500 years and had other sons and daughters. When Arpachshad had lived 35 years, he fathered Shelah. And Arpachshad lived after he fathered Shelah 403 years and had other sons and daughters. When Shelah had lived 30 years, he fathered Eber. And Shelah lived after he fathered Eber 403 years and had other sons and daughters.
Thus all the days of Jared were 962 years, and he died.
Thus all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, and he died.
