John 18:29

So Pilate went outside to them and said, “What accusation do you bring against this man?”

Matthew 27:23

And he said, “Why? What evil has he done?” But they shouted all the more, “Let him be crucified!”

Mark 15:2-5

And Pilate asked him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” And he answered him, “You have said so.” And the chief priests accused him of many things. I answered them that it was not the custom of the Romans to give up anyone before the accused met the accusers face to face and had opportunity to make his defense concerning the charge laid against him.
