“For thus says the Lord: Your hurt is incurable, and your wound is grievous. There is none to uphold your cause, no medicine for your wound, no healing for you.
Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then has the health of the daughter of my people not been restored?
Suddenly Babylon has fallen and been broken; wail for her! Take balm for her pain; perhaps she may be healed.
Oh grant us help against the foe, for vain is the salvation of man!
As for you, you whitewash with lies; worthless physicians are you all.
