The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband. For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. ...
Or do you not know that he who is joined to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, “The two will become one flesh.”
Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
You are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.
I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.
Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ greet you.
Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience.
